Aloha!

I am trying to greet more diversely, considering I am an African American living in Idaho; I guess I am as diverse as I could be here! What can I say, I am a music junkie!!! Sleep, food, cheer, and music are my hobbies, especially the food part.Speaking of hobbies, during spring break I went to the Festival Of Colors! Three of my friends and I drove down to Spanish Fork, Utah, where it is held every year, and when we arrived it was SO GNARLY! The festival is held at the Krishna Temple, so before you even step foot in the gates you get to see a beautiful sight. Once we parked and payed the $3, we started walking up the path so we could buy chalk. As we were walking people on all sides of us were saying, "you are to white/clean man," and then they would throw the colors at us and hide any cleanliness that was peeking through on our bodies. At the festival they also have little concerts down on the lawn part of the temple. Luckily, we arrived just in time to see MC YOGI, who is an awesome rapper of peace and love. Yogi actually passed up an offer on going to the white house, just so he could come perform for us! My best friend Alma loves him with a passion and she was not able to touch his hand during the performance; let's just say I got her a handshake and a picture!:) Also, at the beginning of every hour, everyone in currently at the Color Festival throws their chalk up in the air! It honestly is one of the most beautiful sites that the human eye could see, especially since I was in the middle of the concert of people and so I was able to experience all colors and all different types of beautiful people.
Once we had been there for about three hours, we all went and ate some real Indian food (which was different, but actually very fresh and pretty delicious)! My friends did NOT like the food, so Alma and I ate their food. With my juice, all of us went in to this building and were involved in a calming yoga class (I loved it), but once we had been there for a couple of minutes we got up and explored the different shops and then headed home. The word that I choose to express the festival with is worldly! I challenge all of you to take the opportunity and involve yourself in the Festival of Colors next year!

Currently, I am listening to Ida Maria. Her song is called, "I like you so much better when your naked." I enjoy the song, so try it out some time! Some of you are probably a little weirded out, but bro's nudity is a fact or life! You were born naked, you clean yourself naked, and you die naked. I, myself, love being naked, barefoot, clothe less, and bra less. My friends always tease me because I open-mindedly express how I love to strip down to my but naked self and just chill. Hahaha, ever since I was little, chilling in the nude has been a regular activity for me. Do not worry, as I write this, I am not naked... maybe! Actually, how cool would it be to scuba dive or sky dive naked? Anyways, I am going to stop myself now because I don't want any of you to second guess reading my next post! Thanks for listening!!! Later:)
